About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing technology company in Berlin that is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join their data team. Our client operates in a complex operational environment spanning ERP, supply chain, and logistics systems. This is a hands-on role where you will own analytics projects from requirements gathering through delivery, working directly with business stakeholders to transform their questions into reliable data solutions.
You will build and maintain scalable data models using modern cloud platforms and have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI tooling to accelerate your delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys both the technical challenge of data engineering and the collaborative work of understanding business needs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across ERP, supply chain, and logistics teams to understand their analytical requirements and business processes
- Take end-to-end ownership of analytics projects including scoping, prioritization, delivery, and ongoing communication
- Design and build scalable data models and transformations using SQL and dbt that serve as a trusted foundation for business decisions
- Own new data integrations from source onboarding through production, coordinating with data engineers and business teams
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency across all analytical products you deliver
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting workflows and operational processes
- Leverage AI-powered tools and LLM-based applications to increase the quality and efficiency of your data products
- Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to analytics standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the organization
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, data engineering, or a comparable analytical role
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality principles, and analytical best practices
- Practical experience building data pipelines and transformations using SQL and dbt
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Working knowledge of ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP, including their business processes and data structures
- Ability to translate complex business processes into effective data solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and business audiences
- Structured, proactive, and ownership-driven approach to work
- Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany
Nice to Have:
- Experience or strong interest in agentic AI, LLM applications, and AI-powered workflow automation
- Hands-on experience developing AI agents, prototypes, or automated analytical workflows
- Proficiency with Python and API development
- Familiarity with orchestration tools, version control, and software development practices
- Background in supply chain management, logistics, energy sector, or other operationally complex environments
- Experience supporting senior leadership with decision-ready insights
