About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential international technology organization seeking a Senior Ionic/Angular Developer for a full-time remote position. Our client operates globally and requires candidates who can collaborate during New York business hours (9 AM EST start time). This is a long-term engagement open to both W2 employees and qualified freelancers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using modern web-based frameworks including Ionic, Progressive Web Apps, Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Build responsive front-end solutions with HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript that function seamlessly across browsers and platforms
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Convert wireframes and design specifications into production-ready web applications
- Perform comprehensive testing and quality assurance to ensure deliverables meet requirements within agreed timelines
- Develop proof of concepts and prototypes following industry best practices
- Communicate technical approaches, trade-offs, and solutions effectively with distributed team members
- Work within an agile methodology with task-based deliveries
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience with front-end web development technologies
- 7+ years converting wireframes to functional web pages using the Angular framework
- 4+ years working with Angular 2 and later versions
- 3+ years with Ionic framework, particularly version 4 and above
- 7+ years integrating front-end applications with web services and RESTful APIs, plus backend technologies such as C#, Node.js, or Python
- Proficiency with angular-CLI commands and build tools using npm
- Proven track record working in agile remote teams
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work New York business hours (example: 9 AM EST is 7:30 PM in certain time zones)
