About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential consumer products organization in their search for an Amazon E-Commerce Specialist. This role supports the strategy and ongoing optimization of the Amazon channel, serving as both a tactical and strategic partner to product managers and marketing teams. You'll ensure products are set up correctly, discoverable, and continually optimized for conversion and profitable growth while partnering with operations to identify and resolve inventory risks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Amazon tactical and strategic partner to product managers and team marketers, supporting product-specific go-to-market strategies through listing architecture, content evaluation, keyword targeting, advertising support, and PDP optimization
- Establish ASINs accurately and on time, including product attributes, categories, browse nodes, catalog data quality, variations, and identifiers; troubleshoot suppressed, duplicated, merged, or inaccurate listings
- Partner with marketers and designers to deploy A+ Content and other brand assets, improving page accuracy, clarity, discoverability, and conversion
- Conduct keyword and competitive research to recommend priority search terms for titles, bullets, descriptions, backend fields, and related merchandising; track organic visibility and adjust as search behavior evolves
- Identify key advertising opportunities and partner with marketers to build, deploy, and refine campaigns aligned with launch goals, seasonality, inventory, profitability, and organic growth
- Evaluate sales, traffic, conversion, search, and advertising performance; identify themes and turn findings into specific optimization actions
- Monitor availability, weeks of cover, buy-box status, and inventory signals; flag risks proactively and ensure stockouts and availability problems are addressed urgently
- Monitor catalog health, policy changes, and emerging capabilities; build repeatable launch and optimization practices
- Manage catalog updates through Vendor Central's Excel-based workflows and complex spreadsheet templates
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of e-commerce or digital marketing experience with meaningful hands-on Amazon channel responsibility
- Vendor Central experience required, with understanding of consignment supply models; Seller Central experience valued
- Experience with Amazon Ads, Brand Registry, A+ Content, catalog management, and product detail page optimization required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Amazon go-to-market strategies for new products and improve post-launch performance
- Experience with keyword research, search optimization, competitive analysis, and Amazon analytics or advertising tools
- Strong analytical judgment with ability to interpret sales, traffic, conversion, and advertising data and translate findings into clear recommendations
- Excellent project management and follow-through, coordinating multiple launches and priorities across cross-functional teams
- Collaborative, service-oriented working style with ability to advise while respecting team ownership and goals
- Experience with books, publishing metadata, ISBNs, or broader consumer products portfolio required
- Ability to work proactively, respond quickly to channel and inventory issues, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Occasional travel to the organization's Pennsylvania headquarters required
