Werkstudent*in Erneuerbare Kraftstoffe & Energie

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential energy organization in Berlin, and we're seeking a working student to support their renewable fuels and energy team. In this role, you will:

• Support the specialist team with tasks relating to hydrogen, synthetic fuels, and biofuels, with particular focus on innovative applications in aviation and maritime transport
• Assist your team in processing requests from federal ministry contacts and contribute to well-founded, precise deliverables
• Prepare data, studies, and content in a target-group-appropriate manner, making complex relationships understandable through meaningful visualizations
• Share responsibility for preparing and following up on appointments, and support the organization and execution of workshops and other event formats
• Contribute to the team's online presence and support the maintenance and development of website and social media content

What We're Looking For

Our client welcomes applications even if you don't meet 100% of the criteria listed below:

• Currently enrolled in a university program in energy economics, economics, political science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field
• Excellent German language skills (native speaker or C1 level) with very good written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to present content appropriately for specialist audiences in online contexts
• Willingness to work at least 40% of working time on-site at the Berlin office
• Self-reliant and structured work style, strong team collaboration skills, and the ability to actively contribute your own ideas
• Ability to quickly grasp complex content and prepare it in an understandable and concise manner
• Strong technical interest in renewable fuels; prior subject knowledge is a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and good English skills

This is a 12-month contract position (with the possibility of extension) requiring ideally 19.5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your university timetable. The role offers up to 60% remote work, with a requirement to be on-site in Berlin at least 40% of the time. The client provides a subsidized public transport ticket, modern office space with excellent public transport connections, and an interdisciplinary team environment.
