(Senior) Financial Accountant Real Estate (m/f/d)

Our talent team is representing a confidential real estate investment organization based in München. They are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to independently manage financial operations across their property portfolio and corporate entities. Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day financial accounting for multiple property entities and holding structures
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and Luxembourg GAAP
• Prepare and submit VAT returns within required deadlines
• Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders and external partners on accounting matters
• Prepare comprehensive annual tax documentation for tax advisers
• Support optimization of financial processes and accounting systems
• Contribute to finance department projects with your expertise and initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Degree in business with accounting specialization, or commercial apprenticeship with 3+ years professional experience; chartered accountant qualification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of standard accounting software, ideally DATEV or Business Central
• Passion for working in dynamic environments while maintaining oversight across diverse tasks
• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex financial relationships
• Conscientious, structured, and results-oriented working style
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Fluent German (C2 level) and English (B2 level) required
