About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech client who is building out their sales team in the UK. This is a remote Business Development Manager position with quarterly office visits to Brighton or London (first week onboarding will be onsite, with travel and accommodation provided).
You'll manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, owning the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting through to account management. This is a telephone-based role focused on reaching SME owner-directors—no face-to-face or field sales required.
Responsibilities
- Self-generate leads and build a robust customer pipeline
- Make 30-50 outbound cold calls per day to prospective business customers
- Manage the complete 360 sales cycle from initial contact through to close
- Drive card spend targets and maintain account relationships
- Ensure all activity meets FCA regulatory standards
- Manage ongoing customer accounts and monitor spend performance
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of telesales experience, ideally in B2B sales environments
- Proven track record in a 360 sales cycle role
- Demonstrated success in high-volume cold calling positions
- Experience in financial services sales strongly preferred; card sales experience is ideal
- Self-motivated individuals who thrive in a performance-driven environment
- Comfortable working remotely with quarterly travel to office locations

Pay
Base salary: £30,000-£40,000 with uncapped commission structure. Typical first-year OTE is approximately £50,000-£70,000, with top performers consistently earning £100,000+ OTE.
