About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization in Ulm seeking a Senior C++ Software Developer specializing in test automation. Our client operates across multiple industries including automotive, aerospace, logistics, and telecommunications. This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours/week) offering excellent career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop driver software according to internal standards, along with standalone tools and support software
- Translate internal and external requirements into precise module functionalities, creating design and test specifications
- Redesign complex software modules during refactoring efforts, particularly when functional changes are required
- Participate actively in code reviews, analyze complex system issues, and implement sustainable fixes
- Coordinate technical discussions with relevant departments and maintain comprehensive documentation
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable qualification
- Strong experience in object-oriented software development using C++
- Proficiency with modern version control systems such as GIT
- Several years of experience developing test systems or working in test automation
- Solid knowledge of analog and digital measurement technology; RF measurement experience (such as S-parameter measurement) is a plus
- Experience with NI Toolchain (NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand) is advantageous, or willingness to learn these tools
- Good German and English language skills
