Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology consultancy in Essen, Germany, seeking a Junior Software Developer to join their technical team. In this role, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and support cloud applications using TypeScript and JavaScript with modular, well-structured code and clear conventions
- Integrate external systems via REST APIs and webhooks
- Conduct code reviews, error analysis, and bug fixing, including log analysis and performance optimization
- Create and maintain automation solutions including listeners, workflow functions, validators, conditions, behaviors, and scheduled jobs
- Design and implement workflow automations in enterprise collaboration platforms
- Participate in technical consulting activities alongside the broader team
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Solid programming fundamentals, ideally across multiple languages (e.g., TypeScript, Groovy, Python)
- Programming experience in TypeScript/JavaScript for platform development
- Initial experience with enterprise collaboration and project management tools
- Comfort with bug fixing and troubleshooting
- Structured working style and enjoyment of teamwork and technical communication
- Very good German and English language skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with wiki platforms or marketplace applications
- Experience with cloud migrations and operating models
- Knowledge of serverless development frameworks or workflow automation tools
- Relevant technical certifications
