Kubernetes Administrator/Private Cloud Engineer (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential public-sector IT services organization based in Germany. Our client is seeking a skilled Kubernetes Administrator/Private Cloud Engineer to join their Justice customer cluster team. This is a fully remote position requiring strong German language proficiency and deep expertise in container orchestration and private cloud platforms.

As part of this role, you will ensure container infrastructure runs smoothly and remains future-ready. You'll build highly available, scalable, and secure platforms where applications can be reliably operated and continuously developed. Working collaboratively with your team, you'll drive automation and optimization of the cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Consult on, design, and implement private cloud platforms
• Collaborate with specialized teams to provision necessary infrastructure
• Measure, analyze, and optimize platform performance and stability
• Build and operate distributed systems using DevOps approaches
• Promote Continuous Integration and Deployment processes for efficient solution delivery
• Perform error analysis and troubleshooting in containerized environments
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot proxy systems

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud/platform operations
• Experience in agile development and operation of distributed systems
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Ansible (essential)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in container environments
• Experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting proxies
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (required)
• Familiarity with OpenShift and JavaEE (advantageous)
• Very good German language skills (C1 level) and conversational English
