B2B Senior DevOps Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading SaaS organization seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team in Poland. Our client provides enterprise cloud infrastructure that serves thousands of organizations globally. This is a remote position based in Poland.

Important: Candidates must have existing authorization to live and work in Poland. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain production cloud environments using infrastructure as code, configuration as code, serverless technologies, and containerization
• Integrate security best practices into system designs and configurations across all infrastructure layers
• Evaluate, plan, configure, and implement new software services to support business objectives
• Build custom tools and automation solutions through programming and scripting to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain and scale continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to support development teams
• Manage data lifecycle including backups, permissions management, and auditing for sensitive information
• Participate in on-call rotation, triage alerts, and assist with disaster recovery procedures
• Contribute to Agile team processes including code reviews, velocity estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, development teams, and infrastructure teams
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Set technical direction for team responsibilities and mentor team members on emerging technologies

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in continuous integration tools and techniques (Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions, or similar)
• Minimum 3 years with configuration management and deployment tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar)
• Minimum 3 years in systems administration, performance analysis, capacity planning, or forecasting
• Minimum 3 years as a power user of MacOS, Linux, and shell scripting
• Minimum 3 years programming in current languages such as Java, Python, or Golang
• Minimum 3 years using source control management tools (Git, Subversion)
• Minimum 3 years with issue tracking software (JIRA, Salesforce, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing enterprise-grade software with deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Infrastructure as code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Enterprise security and hardening best practices
• Cloud-native services experience, particularly with Amazon Web Services
• Monitoring and logging tools (LogicMonitor, Sumologic, ELK stack)
• Containerization concepts and Kubernetes
• Structured databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or others)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Relevant certifications such as LPIC-1/2/3, RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Associate
