About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition to lead their worldwide recruiting function. This senior leadership role owns strategy, operations, and delivery of all hiring outcomes across multiple regions, translating business growth into a scalable, AI-enabled talent acquisition model.
Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources, you will serve on the HR Leadership Team and act as a strategic partner to Finance, business leaders, and executives on workforce planning, employer branding, and hiring capacity. You will lead a multi-layer global team of managers, recruiters, and coordinators while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical searches and technical hiring.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the global Talent Acquisition vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business goals
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed TA team, building succession depth and accountability for hiring outcomes
- Partner with Finance on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and budget allocation; independently manage resourcing trade-offs within approved budget
- Drive employer brand and talent marketing strategy globally in partnership with Marketing
- Design and deliver hiring manager training on structured interviewing, evaluation frameworks, and bias mitigation, with specialized guidance on technical and AI talent assessment
- Own ATS strategy, vendor relationships, and evaluation of AI-enabled recruiting tools for responsible deployment
- Manage staffing vendor and agency relationships, including contract negotiation and contingent workforce strategy
- Define TA reporting, analytics strategy, and KPIs; partner with HRIS to build dashboards and use data to inform hiring decisions
- Collaborate with Compensation on market-competitive pay strategy for critical and technical roles
- Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership on talent market conditions, workforce risk, and organizational design
- Represent Talent Acquisition on the HR Leadership Team and lead the function through organizational change
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 12+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience on a global scale
- 7+ years in Talent Acquisition leadership, including experience leading multi-layered teams across multiple regions
- Demonstrated experience with global workforce planning and headcount forecasting at a SaaS company
- Working knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements across multiple regions (EMEIA works councils, APAC labor norms) or proven ability to partner effectively with Legal
- Fluency in regional talent market dynamics, including compensation norms, sourcing channels, and candidate expectations by geography
- Command of core TA metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, pipeline conversion, offer-acceptance rate) sufficient to speak to performance in executive settings without preparation
- Deep fluency in sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, passive candidate engagement, and technical sourcing platforms (GitHub, Stack Overflow)
- Proven experience negotiating and managing staffing vendor and agency contracts
- Background in technical, engineering, or AI talent recruiting with credibility to discuss tech stacks, engineering leveling frameworks, and technical interview design
- Willingness and ability to personally run full-cycle recruiting for confidential, executive, or urgent searches when needed
- 4-year/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience administering an ATS (Greenhouse, Workday) and evaluating AI-enabled recruiting tools
- Understanding of Enterprise Sales hiring dynamics, including attrition patterns and Quota Carrying Rep levels
- Experience partnering with Compensation teams on benchmarking and market-competitive pay strategy
- Demonstrated ownership of employer branding and talent strategy at a regional or global level
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM-SCP certification

Pay
This role is based in the USA and may be remote. Our client has indicated a national pay range of $185,000–$287,000 USD to account for geographic differences. Final compensation depends on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
