VP of Marketing

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization in a critical leadership search. This company operates in the secure business collaboration space, serving enterprise clients globally. They are positioned for significant upmarket expansion and need a VP of Marketing to drive that transformation.

This is a fully remote role for candidates based in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, or the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

As VP of Marketing, you will lead the entire marketing function for a high-growth SaaS company. Your responsibilities include:

• Own positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market plans across products, segments, and regions
• Build category authority through industry events, thought leadership, media relations, executive visibility, and strategic partnerships
• Drive demand generation across paid and organic channels, account-based marketing, content marketing, and nurture campaigns
• Manage conversion optimization across search, review platforms, intent data, and lead capture mechanisms
• Direct regional marketing programs aligned with sales plans and revenue targets
• Own the marketing technology stack, analytics infrastructure, attribution modeling, KPI frameworks, and ROI reporting
• Manage marketing budget, agency relationships, and strategic vendor partnerships
• Hire, develop, and lead a global marketing team
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive cohesive business growth

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of B2B marketing experience with a strong SaaS background
• 4+ years in a senior marketing leadership role within a fast-growing company, with responsibility for the broader marketing function
• Proven experience leading and scaling diverse high-performing marketing teams, including hiring, talent development, and performance management
• Brand marketing portfolio demonstrating activation expertise across multiple channels and markets
• Hands-on experience across content, design, and growth initiatives with ability to work at tactical and strategic levels
• Track record of scaling digital and field marketing programs that measurably grew pipeline and revenue
• Strong understanding of demand generation and account-based marketing initiatives
• Demonstrated success implementing marketing initiatives based on analytical and data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Fluency in English (C1+ level)

Preferred experience:

• Background in M&A, Investment Banking, or Financial Services with understanding of complex deal processes
