Founding Designer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthtech organization based in Berlin that is scaling rapidly across new markets and product lines. As their founding designer, you will own the entire design function and shape how the brand appears and how the product feels.

• Design the core product interfaces that healthcare professionals use daily
• Transform unclear problem statements into clear, usable flows in collaboration with product management and engineering teams
• Build and maintain a lean design system to ensure consistency and brand alignment across the organization
• Own the visual identity and produce marketing, event, and social media assets that drive growth
• Make complex AI technology tangible and accessible for users in the healthcare sector
• Elevate design quality across the entire company

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of design experience across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment
• Portfolio demonstrating both product (UI/UX) and visual brand work
• Proficiency with modern design stack and familiarity with user-centered design approaches (e.g., Design Thinking)
• Strong analytics skills – you actively use data to inform design decisions
• High degree of self-motivation with a bias toward execution rather than endless refinement
• Quick learner comfortable adopting new tools, AI-powered workflows, and solving novel problems
• Ability to synthesize diverse requirements and make them simple and clear
• Native-level German (DACH is currently the primary market) and strong English
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin; this role requires daily in-office collaboration
