Senior Account Manager [ Mat Cover 9 Months FTC]

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential global marketing and content production organization for a Senior Account Manager position based in London. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) working on a major retail client account.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule, with time split between the client's Watford office (2-3 days per week) and occasional work from the London office. You'll be embedded within the client's in-house activation team, managing digital media projects including web, email, and paid media campaigns.

Responsibilities

As Senior Account Manager, you will:

• Manage projects end-to-end from briefing through final delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget
• Coordinate between multiple stakeholders including the client's internal teams, creative departments, and third-party partners
• Prepare client proposals and present creative work to a high standard
• Provide weekly status reports and detailed contact reports following all client meetings
• Deliver consistently against contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs
• Utilize project management tools (Workfront and Trello) to track progress and manage workflows
• Monitor timelines, set realistic expectations, and escalate issues appropriately
• Conduct quality control on all materials before client delivery
• Identify areas for process improvement and workflow optimization
• Mentor junior team members and provide administrative support as needed
• Build strong day-to-day relationships with client and agency stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in creative, branding, digital, or print production environments
• Experience managing and servicing multi-market accounts in the retail sector
• Experience with creative adaptation briefs
• Strong time management and prioritization skills within fast-paced environments
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proactive communication and strong interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to work under pressure
• Quick learner with different software platforms
• Team player with a can-do attitude

Desirable:

• Understanding of digital media channels including web, email, and paid media
• Additional language skills beyond fluent English
