(Senior) DevOps Engineer (F/M/*)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI technology organization based in Aachen, Germany. We are seeking a (Senior) DevOps Engineer to help scale their platform infrastructure across multiple enterprise deployments. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Aachen three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Automate product deployment and setup processes to reduce manual workload across the platform
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize daily deployments and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Design, implement, and document security improvements for client environments and external audit compliance
• Scale deployments for dozens of customers, including large database management, container orchestration, and cloud-native tooling
• Maintain incident response protocols, conduct root-cause analysis, and manage service recovery to ensure minimal downtime
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve platform issues

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience with Linux-based systems (Windows Server experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage workloads across multiple cloud providers
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes management, container orchestration, and related cloud-native technologies
• Strong understanding of development and operations cycles, including CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience managing data streams with tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus
• Fluency in both German and English for stakeholder communication
• Basic programming skills in Java or Python (Rust or Go experience is a plus)
• High ambition with a collaborative, ego-free approach to teamwork
• Strong ownership mentality with reliable follow-through on tasks
• Current residence in Germany (required for this position)
