Scrum Master (Information Technology/Software/Remote)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential software organization with international operations across the EU and beyond. As Scrum Master, you will:

• Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions
• Ensure meetings are productive, focused, and kept within timeboxes
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to manage and refine the backlog
• Coach the team and Product Owner on empiricism, value-based backlog slicing, and incremental delivery
• Track and communicate flow metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, iteration burn rate) and guide data-driven improvement
• Champion adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices across teams
• Proactively identify and resolve impediments to team progress
• Promote empowered, self-organizing teams, shared vision, psychological safety, and collaborative decision-making
• Uphold Definition of Done, quality gates, and compliance with organizational standards
• Communicate with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners to ensure transparency into delivery progress, challenges, and risks
• Utilize team feedback and metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement
• Support the team in using agile planning and development tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence
• Experiment with new practices and frameworks to improve team outcomes
• Contribute to the advancement of agile practices within the organization

What We're Looking For

Our talent team seeks candidates with:

• University degree and at least 8 years of IT professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience working as a Scrum Master at SM2 level or above
• Proven track record leading at least 2 production teams through full sprint cycles (planning, review, retrospective, refinement)
• Experience implementing data-driven continuous improvement initiatives, such as increasing team velocity or reducing lead time
• Experience coordinating cross-team work via Scrum-of-Scrums or PI Planning events
• Deep knowledge of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto principles and values
• Strong facilitation techniques (e.g., Fist of Five, participatory decision-making, Liberating Structures)
• Understanding of systems-thinking and process tailoring for complex or evolving environments
• Knowledge of team motivation and stakeholder engagement techniques
• Proficiency with Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burn-up/down charts, cumulative flow diagrams) and ability to build and interpret dashboards
• Tool proficiency in Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira, particularly in backlog management, dashboards, and workflow configuration
• Required certifications: PSM II (or higher) and SAFe 5/6 Agilist
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS) is considered an asset
• Knowledge of integrating SAFe and Kanban approaches is a plus
• Excellent command of English
