Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential B2B technology organization seeking a strong Middle to Senior QA Engineer to join their development team. In this role, you will:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive testability
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, test plans, and test documentation
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and non-functional testing across multiple systems
- Test browser-based single-page applications and APIs
- Validate microservice integrations, including REST, Kafka, and WebSocket/SignalR communication
- Report and track defects using Jira
- Prepare test summary reports prior to releases
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional team members
- Contribute to UI and API test automation initiatives where applicable
What We're Looking For
Our client operates with a modern microservice architecture leveraging.NET 8+, MS Orleans, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, SignalR/WebSocket, Kubernetes, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of Manual QA experience
- Proven experience testing.NET and React applications within microservice architectures
- Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and established testing methodologies
- Advanced web and API testing skills
- Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Solid understanding of HTTP, cookies, local storage, HTML, and CSS
- Advanced Chrome DevTools proficiency and experience with traffic inspection tools
- Experience testing WebSocket and SignalR implementations
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases and basic SQL
- Experience with Jira, YouTrack, or similar project management systems
- English proficiency at Intermediate (B1+) level or higher
