Product Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud platform organization seeking a Product Manager to own a significant product area and drive outcomes for developer users. In this hands-on, technically rich role, you will:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a core platform area, balancing established foundations with new territory
• Synthesize inputs from customers, support, sales, and engineering into clear problem statements
• Explore solution options with your team, weigh trade-offs, and define appropriate scope
• Release in increments and shorten the loop between shipping and learning
• Collaborate with infrastructure and systems engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable platform capabilities
• Design features, APIs, documentation, and error messages that serve both human developers and AI agents
• Connect with customers regularly and serve as their internal advocate
• Define metrics that demonstrate value for users and the business
• Build alignment across engineering, design, marketing, support, and leadership
• Partner with product marketing early so go-to-market strategy shapes the product, not just the launch

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven product management experience owning a distinct product area, ideally in developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure
• Technical understanding of building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud
• Ability to collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers on multi-tenant architectures or distributed systems
• Familiarity with software development using languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust
• Hands-on experience or close collaboration with CI/CD workflows and Docker/OCI container technologies
• Clear vision for intuitive API design
• Daily use of modern AI tools to research, draft, and prototype workflows
• Realistic understanding of where current AI tools and models fall short
• Strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and agentic workflows in software engineering
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and turning unstructured problems into clear strategies
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building consensus
• Ability to seek out and evaluate data to guide decisions and track success

Bonus qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for using and testing platform capabilities
• Experience using Kubernetes or building self-service platforms on Kubernetes

Location: Canada, France, Spain, or the UK (remote). Must be legally authorized to work in one of these countries. Visa sponsorship is not available.
