Director, AI Translation & Adoption – Data & Technology

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential life sciences organization seeking a Director of AI Translation & Adoption. This is a unique leadership role bridging highly technical AI capabilities with organizational readiness—ensuring that advanced technology reaches the people who need it, in language they can understand, at the moment it matters most.

This position can be based remotely anywhere in Poland and reports into the Data & Technology group. You will own the adoption posture for AI across the organization, leading a team that translates complex technical concepts into accessible communications and education programs for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI adoption strategy across the organization—determining what capabilities get emphasized, when, and to whom
• Curate the AI communications and education calendar to align with strategic priorities rather than engineering availability
• Lead translation of technical AI concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences while serving as the technical-accuracy check on all AI messaging
• Brief organizational change management, learning & development, corporate communications, and change ambassador networks on AI direction and updates
• Oversee AI education programming including lunch-and-learns, speaker series, role-based learning paths, and topical sessions
• Partner with learning & development on delivery infrastructure and learning platforms
• Operate as a service liaison to partner organizations—triaging AI-related needs, prioritizing requests, and allocating team capacity
• Build and lead a team responsible for adoption liaison, translation, and education programming
• Develop team fluency in AI concepts and translation skills over time

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree required (technical, communications, organizational psychology, or related field)
• Strong demonstrable experience in director-level roles combining technology and communications—such as adoption leadership, technical product marketing, or change management for technology programs
• Strong working knowledge of AI and generative AI concepts with ability to maintain credibility with technical teams while remaining accessible to non-technical audiences
• Proven experience partnering with organizational change management, learning and development, and corporate communications functions
• Familiarity with adoption metrics and operational definitions of adoption (active usage, integrated workflow, demonstrated value)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field
• Experience in regulated industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or financial services

Essential Skills:

• Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication across formats—briefings, presentations, written content, working sessions
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills
• Sound judgment in curating messages for different audiences at appropriate times
• Comfort serving as AI subject-matter authority in non-technical settings while knowing when to defer to technical experts
• Deep curiosity about how technology adoption happens in real organizations
