About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential civil engineering firm seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to join their Site Design practice. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is working with a well-established organization that specializes in multidisciplinary design services for mixed-use, commercial, residential, and industrial development projects across the United States.
This role offers flexible work arrangements, including remote, hybrid, or in-office options to support work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have opportunities to work from various office locations or remotely, with occasional travel for client meetings and site visits as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform project management duties on small to medium-sized civil engineering projects from planning through construction
- Prepare planning and design documents, including cost estimates and feasibility analyses
- Execute process design calculations and analyze technical reports
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, professional and technical staff, and clients throughout project lifecycles
- Evaluate, design, and construct plans for projects of varying size and complexity
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining client records in project management systems
- Communicate project development and progress to project managers and clients
- Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings as required
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to less experienced engineering staff
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license - must be registered
- Proficiency with Civil 3D software
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Experience applying standard civil engineering techniques, methods, and procedures
- Capability to take ownership of work and contribute to positive community impact
- Willingness to travel for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits as needed
