Werkstudent Einkauf für Tiefbau- und Planungsleistungen im Glasfaserausbau (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential infrastructure organization in the telecommunications sector. This working student position offers hands-on experience in procurement for civil engineering and planning services. Depending on your interests and skills, you'll work in operational and/or strategic procurement areas:

• Support operational and strategic procurement processes for fiber-optic expansion projects, from sourcing civil engineering and planning services through order processing and documentation
• Actively participate in tender processes: prepare documentation, request quotations, review and compare offers, and contribute to award decisions and preparation of price and contract negotiations
• Conduct market research on pricing, suppliers, and offers; maintain procurement, supplier, and contract data; create analyses and presentations
• Collaborate with technical, planning, project management, and controlling departments to help optimize procurement processes
• Take ownership of tasks and smaller procurement projects after your onboarding period

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, or a comparable program with interest in procurement for civil engineering and planning services
• Ideally some practical experience from internships or working student positions; enthusiasm for procurement processes and commercial contexts
• Strong attention to detail with structured and reliable work approach
• Basic understanding of and interest in technical, organizational, and legal processes related to civil engineering and planning services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Team player with initiative and ability to quickly learn new topics
