We are representing a global leader in the digital experience analytics sector, seeking an exceptional Director of Product Data Analytics to lead a team of four analysts in the London area. This is a strategic leadership role working closely with senior product executives to drive data-informed decision-making across core product lines.

Our client operates across multiple international offices and maintains a strong position in their market. The Product Data Analytics team you'll lead focuses on sales-driven business initiatives, working within a broader Product Insights department that combines quantitative and qualitative research.

Responsibilities

As Director of Product Data Analytics, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of four product analysts, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing coaching to maximize their impact and career growth
• Partner with multiple VP and SVP-level product leaders to align analytical priorities with strategic product vision and business goals
• Direct complex, cross-functional analytical initiatives involving stakeholders from engineering, data systems, customer success, sales, and implementation teams
• Identify gaps in data empowerment across product lines and implement advanced methodologies and tools to strengthen data-driven culture
• Provide critical thinking and strategic counsel on which analyses and monitoring efforts will deliver the highest value given current knowledge gaps
• Lead by example in adopting AI-assisted workflows to increase team maturity and reduce time-to-insight
• Collaborate with product research leadership to establish unified direction and advocate for insights-driven decision-making
• Spearhead cross-departmental initiatives, negotiating buy-in with senior stakeholders and ensuring concrete impact within agreed timelines

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Business or engineering degree with substantial experience as a data analyst before moving into leadership
• Management experience leading data analysts, ideally product analysts aligned to strategic vision with minimal oversight required
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, DBT, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms
• Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and creating sophisticated visualizations including dashboards and interactive reports
• Exceptional ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent projects using appropriate methodologies and tools
• Meticulous attention to data integrity and validation, maintaining high standards for accuracy in all reporting
• Proven track record building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Understanding of how data-driven insights support business strategy and product objectives

• Direct experience working with product leaders throughout the full product lifecycle with strong knowledge of SaaS product metrics
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience implementing predictive models for forecasting
• Ability to remain hands-on when needed to unblock your team while maintaining strategic communication at senior levels
• Prior experience with digital experience analytics platforms
