Remote – Service Dispatch Representative

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in the customer service sector who is seeking a Service Dispatch Representative to join their remote team. In this role, you will coordinate field operations, manage technician schedules, and ensure timely resolution of service requests and outages.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring technician availability and job queues throughout the day
• Assigning and tracking field jobs using dispatch platforms and outage management tools
• Responding to Priority 1 and 2 alarms, escalations, and fallout from missed appointments
• Communicating ETAs and job updates to internal teams and customers
• Documenting job status and actions in collaboration tools, email, and tracking systems
• Collaborating across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of operations

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• At least 1 year of call center experience
• At least 1 year of work-from-home experience
• Must reside in the State of Texas
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adhere to assigned schedules with minimal assistance
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills with a professional and articulate voice
• Ability to multi-task across several computer applications while holding customer conversations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Computer savvy with the ability to resolve minor technical issues independently
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age

Technical Requirements for Remote Work:

• Upload speed of 25 Mbps; Download speed of 50 Mbps
• Stable internet connection with 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms
• USB headset with noise-canceling microphone (Jabra, Plantronics, or Logitech recommended)
• Available cell phone or tablet capable of installing multifactor authentication software
