About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in their search for a Senior Software Engineer. Our client is advancing digital solutions that support healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes. This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems at the intersection of healthcare and technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of a scrum team, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, and code reviews
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, quality engineers, and full-stack developers to design and build required systems
• Coordinate and communicate with clinical analysts, product analysts, quality analysts, and cross-functional team members
• Contribute to security and risk assessments to support deployment of application components in production environments
• Interact with end users to resolve operational problems, determine requirements, and participate in on-call rotation
• Support enterprise-scale hosted applications with focus on reliability and performance

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software development experience, OR high school diploma/GED and 10+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of software development experience using Java, C#, or Python
• 1+ year of experience with relational SQL or NoSQL databases
• 1+ year of experience with cloud architecture (particularly AWS), web application security, and large-scale hosted application development
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Demonstrated skills in Agile software engineering methodology, including documentation, configuration management, unit and integration testing, and continuous integration
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda and Step Functions
• Experience developing code for Linux/Unix-based operating systems
• Track record of delivering commercial enterprise software using solid design principles and architectural patterns within defined timelines
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills with ability to work independently and with distributed teams

Work Arrangement: Remote within the United States. Travel may include up to 20% domestic. Relocation assistance may be available. New hires with start dates of October 1st, 2025 or later will be required to travel to a designated location for on-site onboarding (travel expenses paid by employer).

Pay

The employer's compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. The specific offer will be based on your relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.
