Manager, Partnerships and Proposals

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential publishing organization in their search for a Manager, Partnerships and Proposals. This dual-function role combines strategic proposal development with hands-on partnership management, making it ideal for someone who excels at both persuasive writing and client relationship stewardship.

In this position, you'll craft compelling sponsorship proposals that win new business while simultaneously managing the full lifecycle of assigned partnership programs—from contract signing through renewal. You'll serve as the primary contact for sponsor accounts, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional program experiences that drive retention and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of customized sponsorship proposals for prospective and renewing clients, translating organizational strengths and program data into compelling narratives
• Develop proposal templates, program decks, and supporting collateral that maintain consistent brand voice and drive revenue
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned sponsor accounts, building trusted relationships through proactive communication
• Manage sponsorship programs from signed contract through renewal, coordinating marketing, operations, product, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain project timelines, track deliverables, and identify potential risks early in the program lifecycle
• Compile and present regular performance reports for clients, analyzing results against objectives to inform renewal strategies and upsell opportunities
• Partner with leadership to develop retention plans, proactively engaging clients to understand evolving needs
• Contribute to departmental process improvements, proposal standards, and collaborative brainstorming sessions
• Support senior leadership in client meetings and launch calls as needed

What We're Looking For

• 8-10 years of experience in client-facing, marketing, or partnership roles—ideally within media, publishing, education, or sponsorship environments
• Demonstrated track record of proposal writing, program marketing, or sales enablement
• Proven experience managing client accounts or sponsor programs through full cycles
• Strong strategic writing and storytelling skills with ability to craft clear, persuasive, tailored proposals
• Excellent relationship-building abilities, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and consistent follow-through
• Solid project management skills—highly organized, deadline-driven, capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously
• Ability to translate program data and performance metrics into actionable client-facing narratives
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence presenting to sponsor clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; comfort with proposal and project tracking tools
• Creative problem-solving approach that balances client expectations with revenue and operational goals
• Collaborative team player who works effectively across departments
• Familiarity with budget management for sponsored programs ($50K–$1M+) preferred
• Portfolio or examples of client-facing written work strongly preferred
• Flexibility to travel to client events as needed

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
