About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential higher-education technology consulting organization in their search for an experienced Project Manager. Our client is a trusted partner to colleges and universities nationwide, specializing in ERP/SIS modernization, digital transformation, and strategic advisory services. This is a remote position based in the United States, with occasional travel to client campuses.
As a Project Manager, you will lead critical technology initiatives that directly impact educational institutions' ability to serve students and faculty. You'll work with a collaborative team while managing complex implementations across multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for ERP and Student Information System projects
- Track and report on project budgets and timelines
- Establish project plans suitable for the size and scope of each assigned engagement
- Schedule and manage consulting resources assigned to projects in collaboration with resource management teams
- Coordinate with clients to ensure appropriate client resources are assigned and manage all implementation teams
- Provide advisory services to support organizational change management
- Track project progress and provide regular status reports to project sponsors and executives
- Escalate project issues and identify potential setbacks proactively
- Develop risk management plans in partnership with client stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Five or more years of project management experience within higher education (must-have)
- Experience with SaaS implementation (must-have)
- Experience managing software enhancements, maintenance programs, and new releases
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong critical thinking abilities
- Proven ability to communicate and report effectively at the executive level
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet to plan and track large, complex projects
- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects for more than one client simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience serving as a project lead and motivating teams to action
- Experience with major ERP and Student Information Systems platforms
- Ability to travel to client campuses on occasion (up to 25%)
- Must live and be eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous consulting experience
- PMP certification

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $90,000 - $115,000 annually, plus annual bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills and location.
