About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Senior IT Project Manager. This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to lead complex technology initiatives that directly impact customer experience and healthcare delivery systems.

In this role, you'll oversee highly complex system projects and programs, managing stakeholder partnerships while coordinating cross-functional teams. You'll work on sophisticated IT solutions involving data warehousing, decision support systems, and enterprise-level technology implementations. This position requires someone who can analyze variable factors, mitigate risks, and influence technical strategy across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex IT projects and programs from initiation through completion
  • Assemble project teams, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Actively manage stakeholder partnerships and mitigate project risks
  • Coordinate team activities by maintaining comprehensive understanding of project scope, objectives, and individual team member roles
  • Oversee interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects when managing programs
  • Set strategies and lead program execution to deliver long-term business value
  • Make decisions on technical approaches for project components using SDLC and ITIL frameworks
  • Manage risks and issues unique to technology projects in a healthcare environment
  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Customer Experience platforms and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design, and practical implementation of IT solutions
  • Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Reliable home internet: minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
  • Dedicated workspace that protects confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Extensive experience with data warehouse, decision support, and reporting system environments
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and IBM Relational Database Management Systems
  • Familiarity with executive information systems and statistical software packages
  • Knowledge of development languages and tools including Cobol, CICS, DB2, ASP, COM,.Net, and SQL
  • Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
