Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology organization with operations in Mexico that is seeking an Associate Software Application Engineer to join their development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications while ensuring proper integration with other systems, databases, and technological components.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining software applications according to established standards
- Executing unit tests to identify and correct errors in code
- Participating in build, deployment, and implementation activities for applications
- Monitoring performance and availability of developed solutions
- Analyzing requirements and understanding assigned use cases
- Evaluating the impact of changes and updates to existing applications
- Following development standards, code control, and continuous integration practices
- Reporting progress, risks, and incidents in a timely manner
- Providing basic technical support for implemented applications and solutions
- Participating in training and professional development activities
What We're Looking For
Required Education:
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields (this is mandatory)
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software development
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming and application development
- Knowledge of databases, software testing, and development lifecycle
- Academic or professional experience with agile methodologies and version control tools is desirable
