Senior Manager, Clinical Operations Site Management (Franchise Lead) – CNS

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential contract research organization seeking a Senior Manager for Clinical Operations Site Management with CNS expertise. In this franchise lead role, you will:

• Provide therapeutic and operational expertise throughout program and project delivery lifecycles
• Ensure proper resourcing of projects within the franchise
• Collaborate with therapeutic teams to develop effective delivery strategies and solutions
• Serve as the main contact for the Project Management Franchise Lead
• Present at proposal defense and client meetings to support new and ongoing business
• Train clinical research associates on clinical scope of work, including SOP review, quality initiatives, and clinical monitoring plans
• Coordinate with quality assurance to provide training opportunities identified through corrective action processes
• Establish regular communication channels between project management, site management, and study start-up teams
• Monitor quality metrics including site visit compliance, source data verification, and data query status
• Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a candidate with:

• Four-year college degree with major concentration in biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or related science plus 8 years of clinical research experience as a clinical research associate, OR equivalent education/training and 10 years of clinical research experience
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Experience with CNS (Central Nervous System) trials is required
• Broad protocol knowledge and therapeutic expertise
• Comprehensive global knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry and drug development lifecycle
• Innovative and strategic thinking capabilities
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
