Freelance Marketing Project Manager (Berlin, DE)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology distribution organization seeking a Freelance Marketing Project Manager based in Germany. This is a part-time remote role supporting enterprise-level marketing campaigns across European markets. You'll work approximately 20 hours per week managing complex go-to-market projects for a major technology vendor partnership.

Responsibilities

• Support European marketing managers in planning, executing, and reporting on GTM projects and marketing campaigns
• Update and manage campaign workflows in project management systems, including creative brief creation and oversight of advertising material development with design teams
• Serve as central liaison between European and local marketing managers, copywriters, designers, and automation/performance specialists
• Implement translation processes and coordinate local content approval workflows
• Ensure local marketing teams and partner stakeholders understand campaign requirements, have approved content, and know execution procedures
• Track campaign performance against established KPIs
• Collect campaign planning and reporting data, and manage campaign proof processes ensuring compliance with vendor guidelines
• Participate in operational calls to understand marketing goals and document meeting minutes
• Contribute to continuous process optimization using new marketing tools
• Produce month-end project reports including purchase order tracking and project timelines

What We're Looking For

• Degree in communication management, marketing management, project management, or comparable qualification
• Proven project management experience in digital marketing, preferably in the ICT or technology sector
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in a second European language strongly preferred
• Advanced skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience with project management platforms (Wrike experience ideal)
• Solution-oriented and quality-conscious approach to work
• Structured working style with quick perception and hands-on mentality
• Availability of 20 hours per week
• Experience with Outlook 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Outlook)
• Nice to have: familiarity with Agorapulse, Trados, or similar marketing/translation tools
• Must be based in Germany with authorization to work as a freelancer
