Cybersecurity Intern (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy seeking an intern to support critical client engagements and internal innovation. You will assist in the preparation and execution of projects related to risk management, identity and access management, the EUDI wallet, digital identities, DevSecOps, and AI security. Your work will contribute to the development and implementation of security strategies and solutions for clients across various sectors.

You will participate in internal research and development projects focused on emerging cybersecurity challenges, support the practical development of innovative ideas, and conduct research to prepare client presentations and proposals. Documentation of security measures, preparation of reports, and presentation of findings to both internal stakeholders and clients will be key aspects of your role.

What We're Looking For

• Currently studying or holding a degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Science, Economics, Software Development, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a comparable discipline
• Experience or knowledge in digital identities, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and the EUDI Wallet
• Preferably initial experience with common security tools and relevant cybersecurity regulations such as NIS2 and DORA
• Solid foundational understanding of IT security with genuine passion for digital identities
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Team player who is motivated, hardworking, flexible, communicative, and proactive
• Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration and taking on responsibility
• Very good German and English language skills (at least C1 level in both languages required)
