About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology marketing organization seeking an experienced Freelance Copywriter based in or around Berlin, Germany. This is a remote freelance position providing flexible content support to a corporate marketing team across Europe.

Our client operates in the B2B technology sector and requires a skilled wordsmith who can transform complex business and technology topics into clear, engaging narratives. You'll work across multiple formats—LinkedIn content, blogs, thought leadership articles, executive communications, website copy, and campaign materials—using AI tools as productivity accelerators while maintaining full editorial responsibility for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize high-quality English-language content for corporate and B2B audiences across digital channels
• Develop LinkedIn posts, articles, blogs, thought leadership pieces, campaign copy, executive communications, and website content based on approved strategic briefings
• Translate complex technology and industry topics into audience-relevant narratives that engage decision-makers
• Leverage AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support research, ideation, drafting, and content variation
• Critically review, fact-check, edit, and substantially improve all AI-assisted outputs before submission
• Ensure content reflects the client's positioning, tone of voice, terminology, and editorial standards
• Adapt content for different channels, audiences, markets, and stages of the customer journey
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and manage correction rounds efficiently within agreed timelines
• Collaborate with content owners, project managers, designers, and subject-matter experts
• Proactively recommend content angles, formats, and storytelling approaches where appropriate

What We're Looking For

• Proven professional experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, corporate communications, or comparable editorial roles
• Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills at native or near-native level
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing, corporate communications, digital content, and social media best practices
• Demonstrated experience creating content for technology, IT, cloud, cybersecurity, or other complex business environments (highly desirable)
• Practical experience using AI tools with strong prompting capabilities and ability to generate consistent, high-quality outputs
• Ability to critically assess, fact-check, and substantially improve AI-generated content—never submitting drafts without professional editorial review
• Strong understanding of audience-focused writing, thought leadership, and business storytelling
• Ability to work with corporate messaging, brand guidelines, and defined approval processes
• Excellent attention to detail, linguistic quality, and factual accuracy
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet agreed deadlines
• Professional and reliable communication with international stakeholders
• Additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage
