Territory Manager, Lexington, KY

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the consumer goods sector who is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales and retail partnerships in the Lexington, KY area. This field-based role combines strategic territory planning with hands-on merchandising and account management. You'll work directly with retail partners to optimize product presence, pricing, and promotional strategies while building long-term business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and distribution within an assigned territory, including in-store merchandising and display setup
• Build and maintain relationships with retail partners, presenting initiatives around promotions, inventory management, and pricing
• Execute comprehensive presence, pricing, promotion, and product strategies with retail accounts
• Develop territory-specific business plans to meet sales objectives by identifying and prioritizing retail opportunities
• Provide consultative support to retail partners on category management and business analytics
• Leverage data analysis, brand marketing, and strategic planning to drive business performance
• Track and measure progress against key initiatives using analytic tools and reporting systems
• Manage chain and distribution headquarters accounts within your territory
• Use sales technologies such as Salesforce and Tableau to analyze market opportunities and inform strategy
• Drive up to 100 miles per day to service accounts across the territory

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1-3 years of field sales or B2B marketing experience preferred, or Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency with sales technologies including Salesforce and Tableau
• Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years
• Reliable vehicle available for daily business use
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs, work from heights of 9-12 feet, access confined spaces, and frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch
