Digital Workplace Tech Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization experiencing rapid international expansion across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Latin America. Our client is seeking a Digital Workplace Tech Lead to own and scale their end-user IT function across distributed locations.

This is a strategic leadership role for someone who can operate both hands-on and at a high level—driving standards, mentoring support teams, and shaping the future of workplace technology for approximately 360 users across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Workplace IT function across France and the US, acting as the primary owner of end-user IT strategy and operations
• Coordinate and mentor Level 1 support teams (internal or external), setting priorities and raising service quality
• Oversee global IT operations including end-user support, escalation management, and onboarding/offboarding workflows at scale
• Manage vendors and local partners internationally, ensuring consistent service delivery across all locations
• Own and scale the workplace technology stack: identity & access management, MDM/endpoint management, SSO, security tools (AV, VPN, firewall), and collaboration platforms
• Lead IT asset lifecycle and governance programs
• Drive tooling and infrastructure projects end-to-end, including automation initiatives using AI-driven tools, Copilot, Power Automate, and PowerShell
• Define architecture, documentation, and security standards while identifying gaps and implementing improvements
• Bring structure, scalability, and long-term vision to the Workplace IT environment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in Workplace IT, Systems, or Network roles with demonstrated leadership or ownership experience
• Proven ability to lead without a large team—combining hands-on technical work with strategic thinking
• Strong decision-making skills and a sense of accountability
• Experience coordinating stakeholders and managing operations across multiple regions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs
• Proactive mindset: you anticipate problems rather than simply react to them
• Fluent English is mandatory—this is a core requirement for daily collaboration with US-based team members, leading discussions and projects in a fully international environment
• French proficiency is required
• Spanish or Italian is a plus
• Senior-level experience (7–10 years total)
