Data Product Manager H/F

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Data Product Manager to work embedded within client teams across diverse sectors including transportation, insurance, luxury goods, and financial services.

In this role, you will:

• Identify and prioritize user and business needs for data products
• Define product strategy and roadmap with a clear product vision
• Establish MVPs for data products and plan iterative development cycles
• Analyze technical and business performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities
• Write and prioritize product features as Epics and User Stories in collaboration with business and technical teams
• Create and maintain a well-organized product backlog
• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and client demonstrations
• Collaborate with UX designers to shape user experience
• Participate in user testing setup and analyze feedback
• Maintain short and medium-term roadmaps balancing business impact and development constraints
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders across technical and business functions

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong data science culture: understanding application domains, mechanisms, and challenges of building products based on machine learning models
• Clear understanding of the difference between project culture and product culture
• Solid theoretical knowledge of agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
• Deep familiarity with digital product creation methods such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup
• Ability to identify and prioritize user needs, communicate ideas, and propose solutions
• Skill in adjusting communication style to align highly technical and business teams around a common vision and objective
• English language proficiency
• Passion for digital innovation

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Python and/or Spark
• Experience using Notebooks
• Completion of machine learning courses (such as Andrew Ng's MOOC) to understand ML mechanisms in depth
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Experience implementing A/B tests
