About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading international humanitarian organization in their search for an International Drug Quality Assurance Leader based in Paris, France. Our client operates globally, delivering critical medical services to populations affected by emergencies and healthcare gaps. This permanent position offers the opportunity to lead pharmaceutical quality assurance activities across a multi-country network.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate quality assurance activities across European Supply Centers, working with QA specialists and procurement teams to identify and select quality drug sources
  • Develop and maintain the organization's Quality Management System for medicines, ensuring proper documentation, updates, and communication across the pharmaceutical network
  • Coordinate product qualification activities, approve product dossiers including variations and monitoring, and maintain quality reviews in the central database
  • Perform risk assessments to support decision-making on product approvals and exceptional validations
  • Conduct annual risk analyses for audit prioritization and participate in manufacturing site audits and technical visits
  • Serve as the focal point for antimalarial medicines and work closely with disease-specific working groups
  • Provide technical guidance and training to pharmacists across sections and supply centers on quality assurance and procurement matters
  • Represent the organization in external meetings with international health actors and regulatory bodies
  • Write annual reports on quality assurance activities and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions following audits
  • Contribute to supply chain transformation initiatives and regional development strategies

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in international humanitarian or development work
  • Mandatory experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and good manufacturing practices
  • Fluent English; French language skills are highly valued
