Senior Security Management Specialist – 95% Remote Anywhere in the EU

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential European institution seeking an experienced Senior Security Management Specialist for a remote engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to information security and business continuity initiatives within a multinational environment while working from anywhere in the EU.

The role offers 95% remote flexibility, with occasional on-site meetings and travel to Strasbourg, France. You'll be supporting critical security governance activities across organizational business processes and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy services to Information Security Officers in managing information security and business continuity across the organization
• Develop security controls within the client's information security framework
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk treatment plans
• Draft security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned with ISO 27001
• Develop and maintain security plans, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery documentation
• Conduct security assessments, ISMS control audits, and gap assessments
• Design security controls in accordance with organizational information security policies
• Support formal accreditation processes for information systems handling sensitive information
• Prepare monthly service reports, security documentation, presentations, and other deliverables

What We're Looking For

• University degree required
• 6+ years of experience as a Security Management Specialist or equivalent role
• Strong expertise in ISO 27001 frameworks and ISMS documentation
• Proven experience conducting risk assessments and security audits
• Demonstrated ability to develop security policies, standards, and procedures
• Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• B2 level English proficiency (minimum)
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
• EU work authorization required (remote work permitted from any EU member state)
