Security Operations Manager, Paris

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Security Operations Manager based in Paris. This role leads corporate and physical security operations for the Paris office, provides primary support for Brussels, and coordinates regional security coverage across Munich, Zurich, and other European locations as business needs require.

You will serve as the primary security partner for local teams, regional stakeholders, vendors, building management, and global security colleagues. This position requires a trusted professional who can balance operational effectiveness with employee experience in a high-confidentiality environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day physical security operations for the Paris office and provide supporting operations for Brussels
• Coordinate regional security support for Munich, Zurich, and other European cities where business activity, events, travel, or executive visits require coverage
• Manage practical security controls including access management, visitor workflows, vendor coordination, incident response, emergency readiness, and site security documentation
• Partner with Workplace, building management, Legal, People/HR, EHS/Resilience, Global Security Operations Center, Executive Operations, and local leadership to maintain effective and locally appropriate security
• Support event and executive visit planning with clear escalation paths, stakeholder alignment, and proportionate risk mitigation
• Drive vendor performance improvements, operational standards, reporting quality, and remediation tracking

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in corporate security, physical security operations, protective services, emergency management, public service, military, law enforcement, or a closely related operational field
• Proven experience leading physical security operations in a modern office environment, ideally in technology, professional services, financial services, or another high-confidentiality setting
• Direct experience managing security vendors or guard force operations, including post orders, coverage expectations, performance management, incident standards, and service quality
• Strong incident management background including response, documentation, escalation, after-action learning, and stakeholder communications
• Hands-on knowledge of access management, visitor management, reception security, vendor oversight, contractor access, site emergency readiness, and employee-facing security operations
• Practical understanding of Paris or France corporate security operations, with ability to partner with Legal, People/HR, Workplace, and EHS/Resilience on applicable workplace, privacy, security, and safety considerations
• Ability to operate across Paris and Brussels, with regional support for Munich, Zurich, and other European cities as needed
• Professional/Business English required; French-language proficiency strongly preferred and may be needed for local vendor, building management, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality
