About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology company focused on sustainable product development and supply chain innovation. Our talent team is seeking Python Backend Engineers to join their growing platform team. This is a permanent, remote position within the EU.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to define and refine functional requirements
- Work alongside UX designers to develop and implement technical specifications
- Build efficient, data-powered REST APIs using Python
- Develop end-to-end data pipelines and AI models to support API functionality
- Integrate backend services with front-end applications
- Contribute to testing, debugging, and maintaining code quality
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience as a Python backend developer
- Ideally 2+ years in a B2B environment
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing technical discussions
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or Bottle
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST architecture
- Solid understanding of databases and SQL; graph database experience preferred
- Proven ability to build data pipelines handling complex data sets
- Experience working on large, enterprise-grade applications
- Based in the EU (Germany or broader Europe)
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
