Client Director (German-Speaking)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in Berlin that partners with premium European brands across retail, luxury, automotive, hospitality, and technology sectors. In this Client Director role, you will:

• Identify and secure new enterprise brand partnerships from initial outreach through signed agreements
• Build and maintain relationships with CMO-level and senior marketing leadership across Europe
• Leverage your agency or media background to effectively communicate with brand clients and navigate their organizational structures
• Serve as the strategic liaison between client requirements and internal delivery teams, providing clear briefs from project inception
• Identify expansion and upsell opportunities within the existing client portfolio
• Represent the organization at selected industry events with strategic intent

What We're Looking For

• Proven commercial experience in a marketing, creative, or media agency environment—such as account director, business development, group account management, or partnerships roles
• Alternatively, brand partnerships, advertising sales, or commercial development experience at a media company or publisher
• Demonstrated success managing or winning high-value client relationships at senior organizational levels
• Comfort engaging with CMOs, Heads of Brand, and senior procurement stakeholders—you understand how these conversations unfold
• Natural relationship builder who knows how to connect with decision-makers authentically
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to navigate complex deals and maintain an active pipeline
• Native-level German required; professional English required
