Technical Account Manager, Mid-Market

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Technical Account Manager to support their mid-market customer portfolio. In this role, you'll serve as the primary technical advisor for growing accounts, guiding customers from initial onboarding through long-term expansion. You'll work at the intersection of customer success, technical enablement, and strategic growth—ensuring clients fully leverage data platforms to achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete customer journey for mid-market accounts, from kickoff through onboarding to ongoing success and expansion
• Deliver organized, timely technical onboarding through effective project management and clear communication
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies that increase product adoption within large organizations
• Provide proactive technical guidance and best practices across the platform's full product suite
• Ensure customers understand and utilize platform capabilities to their fullest potential
• Partner with Support, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical escalations
• Surface customer use cases, requirements, and feedback to drive product innovation
• Contribute to retention and expansion efforts within your assigned customer base

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in client-facing, technology-focused roles that blend business acumen with technical skills
• Proven track record managing and executing technical projects with a customer-first mindset
• Strong project management and communication abilities
• Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (SQL, databases, APIs, reporting tools)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with continuous desire to expand technical knowledge
• Natural curiosity to understand customer requirements at a deep level and navigate to elegant solutions
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work under pressure with shifting priorities
• Strong empathy and ability to understand customer needs and business contexts
