SEO Content Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an SEO Content Specialist based in Poland. Our client operates in a regulated financial services environment and needs a skilled content professional who can balance search optimization with strict compliance requirements. This role focuses on creating and maintaining high-intent content that performs across both traditional search engines and AI-driven answer platforms.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will own the creation and optimization of search-led content designed to match user intent and support conversion goals. Your work will span traditional SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), ensuring content is discoverable and citable by AI-driven platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

• Write and update high-intent SEO content including commercial pages, comparison pages, FAQs, and educational material aligned to search intent
• Structure and phrase content for GEO, making it clearly understandable and surfaceable by AI-driven search and answer engines
• Maintain a content refresh plan by identifying performance decay, updating existing assets, and filling coverage gaps
• Conduct keyword research to uncover content opportunities, search intent patterns, and market gaps across multiple regions
• Drive acquisition from generic, non-brand keyword terms to expand audience reach beyond brand search
• Apply on-page optimization best practices including heading structure, internal linking, meta inputs, and pre-publish content QA
• Localize content for country-specific websites, adapting to local search intent and market nuances while avoiding content cannibalization and duplication across the global site network
• Coordinate content across multiple global websites, maintaining consistency of structure, tone, and compliance requirements while reflecting local relevance
• Write and edit content adhering to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) and YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) principles
• Review content performance metrics (rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversion) and use insights to optimize existing content
• Work within compliance constraints using approved claims and risk language patterns

What We're Looking For

• Strong SEO writing and editing skills with clear understanding of search intent and SERP formats
• Ability to follow content templates and create consistent, scannable content structures
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline discipline
• Comfortable with feedback loops and iteration based on performance data
• Understanding of GEO principles and how content is surfaced and cited by AI/LLM-driven search and answer engines
• Strong keyword research skills using SEO tools to identify search intent, opportunity, and content gaps
• Experience managing content across global or multi-country websites with understanding of avoiding content cannibalization and duplication
• Good working knowledge of E-E-A-T and YMYL content requirements, ideally within a regulated or financial services environment
• Performance-led approach with confidence reviewing content performance data and optimizing to improve rankings
• Experience with Storyblok CMS is advantageous
