About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential infrastructure engineering organization in their search for a Senior Power Distribution Engineer. This primarily remote role supports critical utility distribution projects including storm hardening, pole replacement, and system upgrades across the United States. Limited travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations
- Collaborate with designers, drafters, clients, and internal teams to complete accurate design packages
- Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity
- Support project coordination by communicating scope, cost, schedule, and quality considerations
- Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures, including quality control and documentation standards
- Conduct peer reviews, perform self-checks, and deliver accurate work with minimal errors
- Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration
- Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution
- Knowledge of BOUD and Maximo software
- Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
- Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
