About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality technology client in their search for a Senior Frontend Developer to join their Berlin team. Our client operates an advanced commerce platform serving hospitality businesses across Europe, helping restaurants, bars, and venues deliver exceptional guest experiences through modern point-of-sale and management solutions.

You'll join an international, collaborative engineering team working on products that directly impact the daily operations of hospitality business owners. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge frontend technologies while solving real-world challenges in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and improve the developer experience for hospitality commerce applications
• Create and ship elegant, functional web applications with attention to UI/UX quality
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and platform teams in an agile environment
• Participate in daily ceremonies, brainstorm innovative solutions, and challenge the status quo
• Advocate for the highest code quality standards and infrastructure health
• Share knowledge and best practices to elevate team capabilities and engineering standards
• Navigate across multiple codebases using diverse frontend technologies

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS
• Expertise with React.js or similar modern frameworks
• Ability to work across diverse frontend technologies (jQuery, Angular, React)
• Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests with high coding standards
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Passion for problem-solving, critical thinking, and tackling complexity
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and step outside your comfort zone

Nice to have:

• Experience developing mobile-first applications
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools
• Keen eye for UI/UX design principles
