Live Technical Support Representative — Full-Time — $40,000/year + Benefits (Sat-Sun required) (Location: Remote, U.S.-based)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential domain registrar that is experiencing rapid growth and needs to expand its technical support team. This is a full-time, remote position available to U.S.-based candidates who can work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday required).

Our client serves hundreds of thousands of customers with domain registration, DNS management, and hosting services. They pride themselves on combining competitive pricing with exceptional customer service. As a Technical Support Representative, you'll be the front line of that commitment, helping customers solve technical challenges via phone, chat, and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide live technical support via phone and chat during scheduled shifts
• Troubleshoot domain configuration, DNS settings, and hosting issues
• Guide customers through domain transfers, website setup, and email configuration
• Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy, even during high-stress situations
• Write clear, professional email responses to technical questions
• Diagnose and resolve payment processing issues
• Document support interactions and contribute to knowledge base resources

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of live technical support experience in a customer-facing role or internal help desk position
• Professional or personal experience with domains, DNS, and hosting required
• Proven ability to deliver excellent support across multiple channels: phone, chat, and email
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional when customers are frustrated or stressed
• Reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work
• Self-motivated and efficient in a remote work environment
• Must be based in the USA and eligible for employment
• Available to work Saturday and Sunday as part of regular schedule

Schedule Options:

• Saturday - Wednesday, 9 AM - 5 PM Pacific Time, OR
• Thursday - Monday, 9 AM - 5 PM Pacific Time

All 8-hour shifts include one hour of paid breaks.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with multiple years of professional experience at a domain registrar or hosting company may be eligible for higher compensation.

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $40,000/year

Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage (single) starting after 90 days, with 50% employer contribution available for spouse or family plans. A Simple IRA with 3% company match is available after one year of employment.
