About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential public sector organization in Munich seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (m/w/d) specializing in public tendering processes. Our client requires immediate support in managing national and European procurement procedures in full compliance with current public procurement law.
This role offers flexibility with remote work options and flexible hours, based in central Munich with excellent transport connections.
Responsibilities
- Manage national and EU-wide tendering and procurement procedures while ensuring compliance with current procurement regulations
- Advise internal departments on procurement processes, suitable procurement types, and required procedural documentation
- Prepare tender announcements, conduct submission procedures, and perform formal bid evaluations including comprehensive documentation
- Coordinate deadlines, conduct bidder communication and negotiations, ensuring smooth execution of procurement processes
- Prepare procurement recommendations and support commercial and formal evaluation of incoming bids
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Law, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in public procurement, particularly involving construction, supply, or service contracts
- Strong knowledge of German procurement law (GWB, VOB/A, VOL/A, VgV, UVgO), ideally including HOAI and bid calculations
- Excellent negotiation skills, organizational strength, and structured, independent working style
- Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and digital procurement platforms
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- German language proficiency required for this role
