Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential facilities management organization in Potsdam seeking a skilled Facility Technician (Hausmeister) for full-time employment, Monday through Friday.
In this role, you will perform maintenance, upkeep, and repair work on buildings and technical systems. You will monitor the proper operation of building technology and resolve malfunctions independently. You will coordinate external service providers for larger projects and ensure quality execution. Additionally, you will conduct inspection rounds, maintain outdoor areas including winter service duties, and ensure order throughout the property. Documentation of work, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting technical property management round out your responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training in a technical trade, such as HVAC mechanic (Anlagenmechaniker SHK), electrician specializing in energy and building technology (Elektroniker für Energie- und Gebäudetechnik), or comparable qualification
- Previous professional experience as a facility technician, building technician, facility manager, or similar role
- Independent, structured work style with strong service and customer orientation
- Basic IT skills, particularly with MS Office applications
- Valid Class B driving license
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
