Associate Director, Field Execution Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential pharmaceutical organization in their search for an Associate Director, Field Execution Lead. This is a remote position based anywhere in the United States, with approximately 10% travel required.

This role serves as the critical execution anchor between enterprise strategy and field operations, ensuring therapeutic area priorities, product launches, and organizational initiatives are delivered reliably and at scale. You will bring disciplined execution management to replace fragmented coordination, ensuring issues surface early, decisions are made deliberately, and outcomes are tracked through completion.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution outcomes for assigned therapeutic area(s), including steady-state operations, launches, and enterprise change initiatives
• Serve as single point of accountability for field execution performance once initiatives are live, ensuring priorities are delivered with proper sequencing and follow-through
• Monitor execution health signals and assess field readiness as initiatives transition from deployment into sustained operation
• Drive decisions and corrective actions based on standardized business review outputs and execution health indicators
• Trigger escalation and resolution when execution risks or breakdowns emerge, operating within defined governance and decision frameworks
• Partner with planning, enablement, and infrastructure teams to ensure execution prerequisites are in place prior to field deployment
• Translate therapeutic area priorities into executable field work while maintaining enterprise execution standards
• Capture execution insights and lessons learned to strengthen operational discipline and reduce variability over time

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
• 6+ years of experience in commercial execution, field operations, launch management, or complex enterprise delivery within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly matrixed industries
• Demonstrated ability to own and drive execution outcomes across multi-stakeholder, complex organizational environments
• Proven experience operating within structured governance frameworks, operating cadences, and decision models
• Strong judgment and communication skills with ability to translate execution signals into clear actions
• Comfort operating in visible, change-intensive environments with accountability for measurable results

Preferred:

• Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed field organizations
• Familiarity with enterprise operating models, execution governance, or performance management systems
• Background in business performance management, commercial excellence, or sales operations
