Solutions Consultant, Commercial

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Solutions Consultant, Commercial to join their growing team. This role is critical to demonstrating technical capabilities and building trusted partnerships with mid-market prospects across Canada and the USA.

As part of our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're looking for a technical sales professional who can bridge the gap between complex financial software solutions and customer needs. You'll collaborate with account executives to deliver customized demonstrations, design integrated solutions, and drive customer success from initial evaluation through product activation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to deliver customized product demonstrations that showcase technical accounting features, workflows, and value propositions
• Develop tailored solutions based on deep understanding of integration options, APIs, and configuration capabilities
• Collaborate with sales, product, and partner teams to advocate for integration development aligned with customer requirements
• Support implementation of advanced technical and accounting solutions for new customers
• Evaluate customer requirements through use-case analysis, ROI assessments, and technical discovery processes
• Create and maintain technical assets, internal knowledge bases, and customer best practice documentation
• Influence product roadmap by communicating prospect needs and market requirements to internal teams

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles
• Background implementing business SaaS solutions and working with APIs, preferably in the financial services sector
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting, or related field
• Proficiency with IdP, HRIS, and/or ERP platforms
• Expertise in accounting systems, controllership requirements, and finance/accounting workflows
• Strong engineering fundamentals, system design capabilities, and technical specification writing
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills
• Excellent presentation and value-selling abilities
• Proactive mindset with comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Ability to work remotely or from major North American offices
