(Senior / Principal / Lead) Headhunter für Start-Ups (m/w/d) – Berlin

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential recruiting firm in their search for a senior-level headhunter to join their growing team in Berlin. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering successful placements for clients in the start-up and e-commerce sectors.

Candidate Success (50%)

• Source and conduct initial outreach to candidates via LinkedIn
• Guide candidates through the entire recruitment process with exceptional service
• Conduct and evaluate interviews, ensuring alignment with client requirements
• Prepare job offers and coordinate contract processes with clients
• Identify candidates suitable for alternative roles and coordinate with the sales team

Headhunting Project Management (40%)

• Take operational and strategic responsibility for successfully closing headhunting projects
• Manage direct client communication, quality standards, and reporting
• Ensure revenue generation from existing mandates
• Negotiate offers and contracts in close collaboration with clients
• Note: You will not be responsible for acquiring new mandates

Process Development (10%)

• Build and maintain the internal candidate tracking system
• Continuously expand the candidate database
• Collaborate on agency development and optimization initiatives

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking someone who excels in relationship-building and has proven sales capabilities. You understand the distinction between recruiting and headhunting—this role focuses on candidate placement and revenue generation, not simply processing applications.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• At least 2 years in recruiting or headhunting, ideally in a similar position
• Proven track record in candidate placement

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with recruiting platforms, particularly LinkedIn Recruiter
• Fluent German and English (negotiation-level proficiency)
• Strong interpersonal skills with high empathy and initiative
• Results-oriented mindset with entrepreneurial thinking
• Solution-focused approach with accountability
